Mark Handforth (born in Hong Kong 1969) is a sculptor based in Miami, Florida.
Known for his humorous sculptural appropriations of public objects, Mark Handforth has used a breadth of subjects, including fire hydrants, stop signs, and even celestial forms, as in his Sinking Star (2004). Handforth uses tube lighting as a figurative sculptural medium, literally casting his subjects in a new light, with a bold, large format installation style.
